Mr. Dotson’s work is primarily in the investigation of thermal events. His work includes fire & explosions of motor vehicles, boats and structures. He also supports other Explico experts by conducting subject and exemplar vehicle inspections and 3D scanning of vehicles and sites.
Mr. Dotson is currently a student at Eastern Kentucky University where he will complete his degree in Fire, Arson & Explosion Investigation in Fall, 2021. Previously, he has almost a decade of experience in various parts of the automotive industry and his knowledge of vehicle manufacturing lends itself well to automotive investigations.
