Mr. Alex Ivanov is an Associate Accident Reconstructionist with a background in mechanical engineering, product development, mechanical design, vehicle systems, and engineering analysis. Mr. Ivanov applies CAD, simulation, testing, metrology, prototyping, and data analysis methods to evaluate mechanical systems and document technical findings. His engineering experience includes functional prototype development, CFD-informed design validation, sound and thermal testing, reverse engineering, coordinate measuring machine workflows, and finite element analysis. His project experience includes leading drivetrain design and development for a student automotive engineering Baja team, including transmission adaptation, four-wheel-drive system research, gear reduction, clutch-system design, and structural optimization using CAD and FEA tools.
