Mr. Chakraborty holds a BS in Mechanical Engineering from Michigan State University. For his senior project, Mr. Chakraborty was involved with NASA Marshall Space Flight Centre in developing hand-held equipment for testing structural integrity of insulation systems of spacecrafts. Through his career, Mr. Chakraborty gained quality experience in CAD, FEA, Project Management, and Control Systems leading to his area of focus in investigation and reconstruction of collisions.
As a Scientist at Explico, Mr. Chakraborty supports the Accident Reconstruction team by performing inspections using 3D scanners, laser guided measurement devices, and documenting and processing evidence. His role also includes assisting in dynamic crash analysis in simulations and applying physics principles to meticulously analyze crash events and damages. Mr. Chakraborty is currently committed to pursuing cutting edge methods for Accident Reconstruction.
